Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7, the Parque de España in Fuengirola will be the scene of a new concert by the Municipal Band, which on this occasion will be dedicated to traditional Spanish music. The concert, which will be divided into two parts, will begin with the prelude to the zarzuela La Patria Chica, by Ruperto Chapí Lorente; and will continue with the pasodoble Encuentros, by José Rafael Pascual Villaplana; a selection from the zarzuela La Granjera de Arlés, by Ernesto Pérz Rosillo. The first part of the recital will conclude with María La Portuguesa, by Carlos Cano, with arrangements by José María Machuca.
The second part will start with a selection from the zarzuela El Trust de los Tenorios, by José Serrano Simeón; the pasodoble Los dos Adolfos, by José María Martín Domingo; and will end with a selection from the zarzuela Gigantes y Cabezudos by Manuel Fernández Caballero.
