The Noche Viva Fuengirola sports activities will be in the Pedro Cuevas square in Los Boliches

The initiative will offer next Saturday, August 1, from 8:00 p.m., a wide range of sports, cultural and family leisure activities in different areas of the city, also contributing to boosting local commerce and hospitality.

07/29/2026-. The Fuengirola City Council, through the Sports Area, has organized an extensive program of activities for the new edition of Noche Viva Fuengirola, which will be held next Saturday, August 1, starting at 8:00 p.m., in different spaces in the municipality. The initiative, which will be held again during the summer season after the success of previous editions, will be dedicated, on this occasion, to the decade of the 80s, with proposals aimed at all audiences and, especially, designed to be enjoyed with the family.

In this case, the Councilor for Sports, Julio Rodríguez, who explained that the objective of this initiative is to offer a healthy and quality leisure alternative during the summer nights, while promoting the activity of the city’s shops and hospitality establishments, has explained that the different sports proposals designed for this day will take place in Pedro Cuevas Square, in Los Boliches.

“From the Government team we continue to support a varied and attractive program that allows residents and visitors to enjoy Fuengirola in a different way. La Noche Viva has established itself as an essential summer event because it combines sport, culture, music and fun for all ages in a unique atmosphere,” said the mayor.

Regarding the Sports Area, the mayor pointed out, Pedro Cuevas Square will be the main setting for sports activities, which will start at 8:00 p.m. with a Hybrid Run Family Circuit, organized by Hybrid Run, as well as a popular games area from the 80s, where attendees will be able to enjoy proposals such as hula hoop, skipping ropes, spinning tops, giant tic-tac-toe, velcro darts and different throwing games.

At that same time, a Roller Party Disco 80 will begin, organized by Club Lions, and a badminton activity led by Club Esther Sanz Sohail Fuengirola.

The programming will continue at 9:00 p.m. with a longboard skate exhibition, organized by Santa Costa Surf Club; a “Naranjito” Chapas soccer tournament, run by Fútbol Chapas Mijas; and a lively Dance 80 session, led by a Colosseum instructor.

Later, at 10:00 p.m., a fencing exhibition inspired by Star Wars will take place, organized by the Fuengirola Fencing Club, while the day will conclude at 11:00 p.m. with a fun Aerobics 80 class, led by Elena, recovering one of the most representative sports disciplines of that time.

Rodríguez wanted to thank the collaboration of all the clubs, entities and monitors that participate in this initiative, highlighting that “their involvement makes it possible to offer such a complete and diverse program, bringing sport closer to citizens in a participatory and playful way.”
