The Fuengirola City Council reminds that the voluntary tax payment period ends on August 20

Those registered in Fuengirola will be able to benefit from the 30% bonus as long as they pay it before the aforementioned deadline.

07/23/2026. The Councilor for the Treasury, Rosa Ana Bravo, recalled today that the voluntary tax payment period will end on August 20. It is until this date, therefore, that those registered in the city can benefit from the 30% bonus.

“It is very important that taxpayers verify that they do not have debts with the Administration, pay the first installment in a voluntary period and be registered in Fuengirola to benefit from this tax benefit on IBI, ITVM and garbage taxes,” explained the councilor.

In this sense, Bravo has indicated that the City Council has already sent all receipts for these concepts to a bank account. This is, as has been stated, the “most advantageous” option, as it also has an additional 5% discount.

In the event that a taxpayer has not yet formalized the payment of their taxes, the municipal economic manager has recalled that they can do so electronically, through the Electronic Headquarters, the municipal website, by Paypal or in person at the City Council’s Collection Department, as well as through the citizen ATMs installed in the mayor’s offices of Los Boliches and El Boquetillo and also in the Town Hall itself and in the Post Offices.
