10/2025 -People with functional diversity will have preference in the children’s attractions of the Rosario Fair. This was announced this morning the councilors of parties and family, equality and social welfare, Isabel Moreno and Cristina Bornao, respectively, together with the representative of Fuensocial, Alicia Gómez, who have explained that in order not to have to queue, the little ones must carry a blue bracelet that Fuensocial is responsible for distributing in its headquarters of Blanca Paloma street, from 9:00 a.m.
“The Rosario Fair is an inclusive fair thanks to joint work with groups and entities such as Fuensocial, which develops an extraordinary work in our municipality and with whom we maintain a close collaboration,” Bornao explained, noting that “this time we will favor people with functional diversity so that they can enter the different pots without having to make queues, both the minor that the bracelet takes.”
In this sense, the mayor has indicated that “this will make it possible for them not to suffer stress or have trouble enjoying the fair attractions. I want to ask everyone to have empathy and be supportive and do not get angry if we have to wait a little more in the tail to give preference to these people and that we can all enjoy a fair as inclusive as possible.”
For her part, the representative of Fuensocial, Alicia Gómez, explained that “our therapists, in their work with families, realized this need, since many of our children have a sensory overload and these days of the fair can have an overestimulation, both auditory and visual, and this initiative allows families to enjoy more of these days of the fair and do not have to make long waiting in the line quite critical situation for them. ”
Gómez has thanked “the entire City Council for hosting this initiative, for disseminating and being increasingly inclusive, since the departments of parties, sports … All are working so that we are increasingly a more inclusive municipality.”
For its part, Isabel Moreno has indicated that “from the City of Fuengirola we work with the different groups of our city and we always think of them, both in the face of the Rosary Fair and the rest of the celebrations, with the intention of benefiting the common good of all of them so that we can enjoy some more and more inclusive parties.”
Time without noise
In this sense, the mayor explained that, as in previous years, “from five to six in the afternoon, we will have an hour without noise so that children with functional diversity or autistic spectrum disorder can fully enjoy the more than 150 fair attractions that this year will be installed in the fairgrounds.”
