Melody, Joana Jiménez, El Bicho, María Carrasco and Juanlu Montoya will perform at the Carmen Fair in Los Boliches

It will be held from July 15 to 19 at the Fairgrounds and with previous activities such as the ‘Tirada del Copo’ (July 11) or the Bowlers of the Year event (July 13). This year, as a novelty, the ‘Santa Fe de Los Boliches’ Flamenco Festival will be held in Pedro Cuevas Square on July 14 at 10:00 p.m.

6/7/2026 – Melody, Joana Jiménez, Miguel Campello ‘El Bicho’, María Carrasco and Juanlu Montoya will be the main artists of the Feria del Carmen de Los Boliches 2026, which will be held from July 15 to 19 at the Fairgrounds with an extensive program of concerts, activities, popular traditions and religious events in honor of the Virgin of Carmen. The deputy mayor of Los Boliches, Rosa Ana Bravo, and the councilor for Festivals, Isabel Moreno, presented today the official program of festivities that will once again turn this neighborhood into the great meeting point of the Fuengirola summer.

«Every month of July, Los Boliches lives its festivities in honor of the Virgen del Carmen with great enthusiasm. We have prepared a very varied program, designed so that neighbors and visitors can enjoy a few days of coexistence, tradition and fun for all ages,” highlighted Isabel Moreno.

The official opening of the Fair will take place on Wednesday, July 15, at 9:30 p.m., next to the cover of the Fairgrounds. The mayor, Ana Mula, will be in charge of raising the flag to the sound of the National Anthem, performed by the Municipal Music Band.

Next, the musical performances with Lorenzo will begin (10:00 p.m.), followed by the long-awaited concert by Melody (11:00 p.m.). The first day will conclude with a performance by the group La Gramola, scheduled for 12:15 a.m.

On Thursday, July 16, the feast of the Virgin of Carmen, the venue will host the so-called ‘Young Night’, which will begin at 10:00 p.m. with performances by CGZ and Adri O, will continue with G Alessandro at 11:30 p.m. and will end with a Rooster Battle starting at 1:00 a.m.

Friday, July 17 will be the traditional Children’s Day, with attractions at 50% of their usual price. In addition, the little ones will be able to enjoy a great children’s party with a theatrical performance by Peladilla Producciones. At night the Juani Guerrero Dance Academy (9:30 p.m.), Joana Jiménez (10:30 p.m.) and Sueño Marismeño (12:15 a.m.) will perform.

On Saturday, July 18, the main stage will host the Chassé Dance Academy (9:30 p.m.), the Cante y Calle group (10:30 p.m.), María Carrasco (11:30 p.m.) and Juanlu Montoya (12:45 a.m.).

The musical program will conclude on Sunday, July 19, with performances by La Seño (9:30 p.m.), Miguel Campello ‘El Bicho’ (10:30 p.m.) and Los Kalima (12:15 a.m.).

Carmen Day

On Thursday, July 16, the patron saint’s day, the day will begin with the solemn mass in honor of Our Lady of Carmen, which will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. in the parish of Carmen and Santa Fe de Los Boliches. As is tradition, during the Eucharist the wreath of flowers will be blessed and subsequently placed in the sea in memory of the deceased sailors, by means of a boat that will depart from the Los Náufragos boathouse.

The most anticipated moment will arrive at 8:45 p.m. with the processional departure of the Virgen del Carmen. The image will travel its usual route to the Estrella de los Mares square to later enter the sea, carried by its sailors, where it will bless the waters.

At 10:00 p.m., the T breakwater will once again be the scene of the traditional fireworks display, after which the procession will continue its journey until returning to the temple, where it is scheduled to enter around 1:30 a.m.

Activities prior to the Fair

Rosa Ana Bravo wanted to thank the involvement of the Hermandad del Carmen, the Peña Recreativa Bolichera, the Los Boliches Festival Commission and all the municipal areas that make the celebration possible.

Among the previous events, the traditional Tirada del Copo stands out, which will take place on July 11, starting at 8:00 a.m., in the dock area. This recreation of one of the most emblematic fishing gears in Los Boliches, which has practically disappeared today, is a tribute to the history and seafaring roots of the neighborhood.

On July 13, at 9:00 p.m., Plaza Estrella de los Mares will host the event to honor the Bowlers of the Year, which will be accompanied by a musical performance by María Carrasco.

As the main novelty of this edition, on July 14, at 10:00 p.m., Pedro Cuevas Square will be the scene of the ‘Santa Fe de Los Boliches’ Flamenco Festival, organized in collaboration with the Peña Flamenca Unión del Cante. The poster will feature singing with Iván Chaskío Tamayo and Virginia Gámez; on guitar, Andrés Cansino and José Antonio Rojas; and the dance of Juan Antonio Pérez’s flamenco painting ‘Azabache’. The presentation will be given by Francisco Reina.

Finally, Rosa Ana Bravo recalled that religious services in honor of the Virgin of Carmen will begin on July 7, with the start of the traditional Novena, which will be celebrated daily at 8:00 p.m. in preparation for the festival of the patron saint of Los Boliches.
