7/3/2026 – Next Wednesday, July 8, the Fuengirola Peace Palace will host the end-of-year gala of the Alicia Iranzo Dance School, which this year commemorates its 40th anniversary with the show ’40 years of dance, 40 years of Alicia Iranzo’. The Festival Councilor, Isabel Moreno, and the director of the academy today presented this event, which will begin at 9:00 p.m. and will bring together students between 4 and 65 years old on stage.

“We continue to present the end-of-year shows of the dance academies in our city and today it is the turn of a school that is a benchmark in Fuengirola, such as Alicia Iranzo,” said Moreno. In this sense, he highlighted that “it will be a magnificent opportunity to enjoy the talent, elegance and work that his students do throughout the year, as well as the evolution they have experienced throughout the course.”

The councilor has encouraged neighbors and visitors to attend this cultural event, ensuring that “they will be able to enjoy a high quality show, prepared with a lot of effort and enthusiasm.” Tickets have a symbolic price of five euros and can be purchased by calling 615 09 28 29 or at the Peace Palace box office one hour before the start of the performance.

For her part, Alicia Iranzo explained that the show will offer a tour of different dance disciplines, such as stylized dance, folklore and flamenco, performed by students of all ages. In addition, he highlighted the incorporation of his daughter, Raquel Santiago, a professional dancer, into the teaching team, who has prepared new choreographies for this edition.
