The students of the municipal Singing workshop will offer their end-of-year concert on June 29 at the Peace Palace
The recital, which will feature the collaboration of the Harmony Music School orchestra, will begin at 8:00 p.m. and admission will be free until capacity is reached.
6/25/2026 – The students of the Municipal Singing Workshop of the Youth Area will celebrate their traditional end-of-year concert at the Peace Palace on June 29. This was announced this morning by the Youth Councilor, Isaac Vargas, and the director of the workshop, Paula Adiego, who have invited neighbors and visitors to enjoy this musical show that will begin at 8:00 p.m. with free admission until capacity is reached.
“It is a concert that, in addition to making us enjoy live music and the talent of our students, allows us to see the artistic and personal evolution they experience throughout the course. It is also a very special occasion because we will once again have the collaboration of the Harmony Music orchestra, directed by Yamandu Padrón, whom I want to thank for his involvement and collaboration with our workshop,” said Vargas.
The mayor has encouraged Fuengirola residents to attend this recital and support the work carried out throughout the year by the participants of the municipal workshop.
For her part, Paula Adiego has highlighted the history of this training initiative, which is now 22 years old. “The Department of Youth offers a unique training in Fuengirola, where students can develop both the technical and artistic aspects related to singing,” he explained.
The director of the workshop has advanced that the concert will allow the students to live an experience very close to that of a professional artist, performing their songs accompanied by a live band and with all the technical resources offered by the Peace Palace.
“The repertoire includes well-known songs of different styles, such as Rolling in the Deep, Paradise, Diamonds, Twist and Shout, Autumn Leaves, What a Wonderful World, Isn’t She Lovely or Livin’ on a Prayer. It will be a musical journey through some of the most emblematic songs of the 20th and 21st centuries,” he indicated.
To conclude, Adiego highlighted the magnitude of this musical event, which will bring together about 40 people on stage, including students and musicians. “We invite all the neighbors to share with us a very special afternoon, enjoying good music and the effort made throughout the course. It will be a unique opportunity to experience a concert full of emotion and local talent,” he stated.
