The Fuengirola City Council will launch six summer courses at the House of Culture

Registration can be made at the secretariat of the cultural offices, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., by bank card. The following specialties are offered: Ballet, Ballroom dancing, Sevillanas, German, English and Spanish

6/25/2026 – Fuengirola City Council will launch six summer courses at the House of Culture. This was announced today by the councilor of the branch, Rodrigo Romero, who explained that registration is open in the secretariat of the House of Culture, which is located on the second floor of the building, in the morning hours. The registration period will be open until the available places are sold out and payment can only be made by bank card.

“As happened last year, the summer courses will only be in the month of July. I recommend everyone to try them because there are many options at the House of Culture and it is a good way to get to know them and if you like, continue them in winter,” explained Romero.

Classes will be taught from July 1 to 31. Ballet, Ballroom Dancing, Sevillanas, German, English and Spanish are the specialties included. These summer courses have a wide variety in terms of modalities, levels and schedules. “The number of places is limited, so, as there will be no waiting lists, I recommend that anyone interested come to the House of Culture to register for those courses that interest them most,” said Romero.

Thus, Ballet classes will be given at the House of Culture and at the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches, in the morning to choose between four groups. In this way, classes at the House of Culture will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (advanced level, for ages 16 and up) and those same days from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (elementary level, ages 10-12). For its part, the ballet courses of the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (advanced level, from 16 years old) and those same days from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (intermediate level, from 13 to 15 years old). The registration price for the 3-hour weekly workshop is 14.25 euros for those registered and 20.65 euros for people not registered in Fuengirola; while the price for the 2 and a half hour workshop will be 11.90 euros for registered residents and 17.20 euros for non-registered residents.

The Ballroom Dancing course will divide its students into two groups, one of them will teach its classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches, while the second group will also be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and at the House of Culture. The registration fee will be 14.25 euros for those registered and 20.65 euros for people who are not registered in the municipality.

The Sevillanas course will also divide its students into two groups: one that will be taught on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and another that will also be taught on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but at the House of Culture and its hours will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The price is 14.25 euros for those registered and 20.65 euros for those not registered in the municipality.

The English course is the one with the largest number of students, who are divided into six groups based on their age and level of the language. The price will also be 14.50 euros for those registered in the municipality and 21 euros for those not registered.

The German classes, once again incorporated into the summer course offering, will be divided into two groups for adults (level A1 and level A2 adults) and will be taught at the House of Culture in the afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The price of this course will also be 14.50 euros for those registered and 21 euros for those not registered.

For their part, Spanish classes will be taught at the House of Culture and will be divided into two groups that will have their classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 to 11:30 for level A2, and on Mondays and Wednesdays at the same time for level A1. The price of this course will also be 14.50 euros for those registered and 21 euros for those not registered.

The time to register is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the secretary of the House of Culture, located on the 2nd floor. Payment can only be made by bank card. Regarding the deadline for registration, Rodrigo Romero explained that it will be open until all the available places are sold out.
