3/6/2026 – The registration period is now open to participate in the 2026 edition of the Noche Viva Fuengirola, which will be held on Saturday, August 1 and whose theme will be focused on the 80s on this occasion. This was announced this morning by the Councilors for Festivals and Commerce, Isabel Moreno and Francisco Javier García Lara, who have explained that the applications can be downloaded from the catalog of procedures at the City Council’s electronic headquarters and must be submitted before on July 10, to the email addresses nocheviva@fuengirola.org, fiestas@fuengirola.org either commerce@fuengirola.org.
“One of the most important activities that we organize with most love every summer from the different council departments of the City Council is the Noche Viva Fuengirola. An initiative that we began working on at the beginning of the year with the help of our merchants at the Commerce and Hospitality Roundtable, where the day of celebration and the theme for this year were chosen,” explained Moreno.
For his part, García Lara highlighted that “Night Viva is the great festival of Fuengirola commerce and, like every year, we want to go hand in hand with our merchants and to do so we ask for their collaboration. It is very important that they get involved in this activity that we organize to promote and give visibility to all our establishments, regardless of the area where they are located, because we want this festival to reach all the neighborhoods of the city.”
The Department of Commerce will send the registration form to all the businesses that appear in its database to invite them to participate and “in addition, the councilors of each neighborhood will visit the establishments in the different areas of the city to facilitate the application and invite them to participate, because it is important that they create synergies and come together to organize activities, create projects, promote musical performances or decorate the different areas together.”
In addition, interested parties can also go to both the Department of Commerce and the Department of Festivals to obtain the form, which will also be available in the procedures catalog of the City Council’s electronic headquarters. La Noche Viva is a date highly anticipated by all the businesses in Fuengirola, which can use the Occupation of Public Roads, take their displays to the street to show their products, offer live music, carry out promotions and special offers for that night, “but for this it is very important that they are registered because we need authorization from both the Department of Public Roads and the Local Police,” García Lara indicated.
The event, which has become the great summer party in Fuengirola and the Costa del Sol, will start at eight in the afternoon in different public spaces and commercial establishments in the city and will last until two in the morning. This year the central theme of the Noche Viva, on which both the decoration and the activities of the event should revolve, will be the 80s.
