The Fuengirola House of Culture once again hosts this summer the ‘Art School’ aimed at children from 5 to 15 years old
The price of this activity will be €135 per fortnight, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and this year the classes will be dedicated to the world of fantasy. Registration can be formalized at the municipal cultural headquarters during office hours.
5/28/2026 – The ‘Manuel Delgado Perea’ House of Culture in Fuengirola will once again host the ‘Art School’ this summer, aimed at children from 5 to 15 years old. The price will be 135 euros per fortnight from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Registration can be formalized at the municipal cultural headquarters during office hours. The Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, and the representative of the ‘Círculo Dodecafónico’ Music School, Alicia Gaitán Gámez, have presented the activity, whose central theme this year will revolve around the world of fantasy.
“One more year we offer from the Municipal School of Music, which is on the first floor of the House of Culture, the possibility that the young people of the house can participate, during the month of July and the first half of August, in a very special summer school, focused mainly on the development of artistic talents. The students have fun, they go on many excursions, but basically they focus on the most creative part,” said Romero.
In this sense, the councilor explained that “every year the theme changes and on this occasion it will be focused on the world of fantasy, which will be the axis around which the different dynamics that will be developed in the workshops revolve.”
For her part, Alicia Gaitán explained that “fantasy is a very broad topic and, although I don’t want to give too much away, we are going to have a lot of theater, crafts, painting… a little of everything. We will take many excursions: one day we will go to the zoo, another to the Police Headquarters, we will also go to the cinema one day and every day we will go to the park.”
The teaching schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and three groups will be offered: the first will take place from July 1 to 15; the second, from July 17 to 31; and the last, from August 3 to 14. The classes will be taught at the House of Culture and the price of the course will be 135 euros every fortnight. The possibility of single-day registration for €20 each day is also included. Students enrolled in more than one fortnight or those who are siblings will have a discount of €5 per fortnight per student.
