The Fuengirola City Council promotes ‘Magical Saturdays’ in the Miramar neighborhood

The Octopus Park in the aforementioned neighborhood will be the scene, one Saturday every month, of free magic shows aimed at family audiences. The first appointment will be this coming Saturday, March 7, starting at 12:00 p.m.

3/3/2026 – The Fuengirola City Council will launch a new family leisure proposal in the Miramar neighborhood under the name of ‘Magical Saturdays’, a monthly cycle of free shows that will be held in Parque del Pulpo with the aim of energizing neighborhood activity and promoting coexistence. The first appointment will be this coming Saturday, March 7, starting at 12:00 p.m.

This was announced by the Councilor for Festivals and Citizen Participation, Isabel Moreno, and the councilor for the Miramar neighborhood, José Luis Ponce, who have highlighted the importance of bringing cultural and entertainment activities to the different neighborhoods of the city.

The ‘Magical Saturdays’ will be held, in general, one Saturday a month at 12:00 p.m. and will be aimed at all audiences, especially family audiences. Specifically, the appointments will be on March 7, April 4, May 23 and June 13.

The program will include magic shows by Grupo Más Animación, which will offer dynamic and participatory performances designed to surprise and entertain both children and adults.

Moreno pointed out that “with this initiative we want to fill our parks with life and create meeting spaces for families, offering free and quality leisure alternatives in the neighborhoods themselves.”

For his part, Ponce has stressed that “Parque del Pulpo is a point of reference in Miramar and with this proposal we reinforce its role as a place of coexistence and neighborhood enjoyment.”

In this way, the City Council continues to promote outdoor activities that promote citizen participation and turn public spaces into stages of culture and entertainment accessible to all.
