The Fuengirola Youth Area organizes a hiking route and orienteering race in the Juanar Forest on March 21
It is aimed at young people between 14 and 35 years old and registration (5 euros) can be made from March 5, at 8:00 p.m., through the Citizen Card
3/3/2026 – The Youth Area of the Fuengirola City Council has organized a hiking route with an orienteering race in the Juanar Forest, in the municipality of Ojen, for next March 21. This was announced by the Youth Councilor, Isaac Vargas, who highlighted that the activity is aimed at young people between 14 and 35 years old.

“From the Department of Youth we continue to promote initiatives that offer healthy leisure alternatives to our young people. On this occasion we propose a different plan, outdoors, to enjoy a day with friends in the middle of nature,” explained the mayor.
The day will combine hiking and a dynamic team orientation race. Participants will receive detailed maps with the location of 18 beacons distributed across different emblematic points of the natural environment. Each group must locate them and overcome the associated challenges, which will include riddles, brain teasers and fun challenges.
Vargas has stressed that it is not necessary to have previous experience, since the activity is adapted to all levels and will be accompanied by specialized technicians. “It is not a competition to see who arrives first, but rather an orientation experience designed to promote teamwork, coexistence and enjoyment of the natural environment,” he noted.
The registration price is 5 euros and can be formalized starting March 5, at 8:00 p.m., through the Citizen Card.
Finally, the councilor encouraged young people from Fuengirola to participate in this proposal “that combines sport, nature and coexistence, offering a different and enriching experience.”
