The Fuengirola City Council promotes an Easter School to facilitate family conciliation

2/3/2026 – Fuengirola City Council launches a new edition of the Easter School with the aim of helping families in the municipality to reconcile work and family life during the school holidays. This was announced by the Councilor for Education, Carmen Díaz, accompanied by the co-directors of the organizing company Vaiana Espacio Infantil y Familiar, Paula Carrión and Ana Calzado.
The activity will take place on March 30 and 31, April 1 and 6 at the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is aimed at children between 3 and 12 years old. There will be no activity during Good Thursday and Good Friday.
“After the success of the camps organized at Christmas and White Week, many families have expressed their interest in also having this alternative at Easter,” said Díaz. In this sense, he explained that this year’s program will be titled ‘The Guardians of the Planet’, a proposal that combines leisure and learning with content related to the environment and sustainability.
The mayor highlighted that the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo has classrooms and an assembly hall, in addition to its proximity to sports facilities such as the pavilions of the Elola complex, where recreational and training activities will also be developed to reinforce the knowledge acquired.
For her part, Ana Calzado has detailed that the camp will include workshops, dynamics and games focused on caring for nature and the importance of individual actions to protect the environment. “We always work through play, because it is the most effective and natural way of learning at these ages,” he explained.
