The registration period is open to participate in four new courses of the free Training Plan for unemployed people in Fuengirola
These are the training actions of Hairdressing Care and Procedures, Customer Service, English and Food Handler. Registrations must be formalized in the entry registers of the City Council and the mayoral offices of Los Boliches and El Boquetillo before February 13
2/2/2026 – Fuengirola City Council, through the Department of Training and Job Creation, has opened the registration period for a new program of courses included in the free Training Plan aimed at unemployed people in the city who wish to improve their employability and acquire new professional skills. This was announced by the councilor for the sector, Isaac Vargas, who detailed that the training offer includes the following initiatives: Hairdressing Care and Procedures (150 hours); Customer Service (75 hours); English (90 hours); and Food Handler (16 hours).
“These training actions will take place during the months of March and April 2026 in the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches, except for the English course that will be taught in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo,” explained Vargas, noting that “the deadline to submit applications will remain open from today until February 13 in the entry records of the City Council and the mayoral offices of Los Boliches and El Boquetillo.”
Hairdressing Care and Procedures
Training aimed at professional care in the hairdressing salon and the basic technical procedures of the trade. It will be taught from March 9 to April 24, 2026, in the Hairdressing Classroom (first floor) of the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Customer Service
Students will acquire the necessary skills to function in professional customer service and assistance situations. It will take place from March 2 to 20, 2026, in Room 4 of the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
English
Course aimed at using the language safely and flexibly, both orally and in writing, in everyday and professional situations. It will take place from March 2 to 25, 2026, in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo, Room 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Food Handler
Training aimed at acquiring the knowledge and techniques of hygiene and food safety necessary for professional practice in sectors such as hospitality and the food industry. It will be taught from March 23 to 26, 2026, in Classroom 1 of the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
