1/15/2026 – The Peace Palace of Fuengirola will host next Saturday, February 7, the theatrical performance of the comedy ‘Two men alone, without dot com… or anything’, by the company Camino de los 30 años. This was announced this morning by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, accompanied by the stars of the show, Manolo Medina and David Caballero.
Romero explained that the function, recommended for those over 13 years of age, will begin at 8:00 p.m. and that tickets are already on sale from 18 euros through the web platform www.giglon.com or in person at Óptica Mirel, located on Doctor Fleming Street.
“There are performances, artists and plays that we never get tired of, because they always manage to make us smile, entertain us and have fun. That is precisely what happens with Manolo Medina, David Caballero and this play, which has been on the bill for no less than 27 years,” said the mayor, who highlighted that “although it has been performed on several occasions in Fuengirola, it always incorporates small twists and novelties in the script that manage to surprise and make the audience laugh once again.”
For his part, Manolo Medina has stressed that ‘Two men alone, without dot com… or anything’ has become the longest-running comedy in Spain. “So many things have happened during these 27 years that we ourselves are amazed. If we had to look for a reason for this success, I think it is in the closeness of the character I play, with which the public feels very identified,” he stated.
In this sense, Medina recalled that recently the newspaper El País defined the work as “worthy of a sociological study.” “After so many years on stage, I’m beginning to believe it. We are currently performing every Sunday at the Amaya Theater in Madrid and in Fuengirola we have been coming for many years, always with a fantastic reception. The play is constantly renewed and now we have David Caballero as our new castmate,” he added.
Finally, David Caballero has highlighted the close connection he maintains with Fuengirola, “one of the most leading municipalities in Spain and, especially, on the Costa del Sol. For me it is a privilege to get on stage at the Palacio de la Paz, where I have been able to enjoy great concerts and shows by artists such as Sergio Dalma, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Los Morancos or Effect Mariposa. It is a city to which I come very frequently and with which I maintain a very special relationship”, he has concluded.
