1/8/2026 – Fuengirola City Council has organized six cultural activities in the second half of January for all audiences. The municipal programming designed by the Department of Culture for this first month of 2026 includes exhibitions, musical and dance shows and a theatrical performance to benefit Fuensocial, among other proposals, which the responsible councilor Rodrigo Romero announced today.
The mayor has detailed the programming, whose most imminent date will come next January 16, “with the Memories of Andalusia concert by Astrea Quintet at the House of Culture, starting at eight in the afternoon. Tickets are priced at 5 euros and are available on the website https://entradas.fuengirola.es or at the information point of the Miramar Shopping Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Furthermore, the councilor recalled that the exhibition on the social fabric of Fuengirola and its volunteering organized by the Department of Families, Equality and Social Welfare is still on display on the Paseo Marítimo de Los Boliches.
One of the highlights of the cultural program will arrive on January 17 with the double performance (6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) at the Peace Palace of the tribute concert to Las Guerreras K-Pop. “There are still some tickets for the second session that can be purchased on the website https://padelarcos.janto.es”.
On Friday, January 23, at 8:00 p.m., the Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture will host the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Dreams and Paths’ by Jesús Simón Pizarro, which will be open to the public until February 20 and can be visited, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
One day later, on Saturday, January 24, the performance of the play ‘A pound of flesh’ by the Teatro Mijas cultural association will arrive at the Peace Palace to benefit Fuensocial. Tickets can be purchased on the website https://entradium.comat the Seneca stationery store, located at 9 Antonio Chenel Antoñete Street, at the Fuensocial headquarters and at the Peace Palace box office one hour before the start of the performance.
To close the cultural program for January, on the 30th at 9:00 p.m., the first performance of the year by the Municipal Dance Group of Fuengirola will take place. Admission to this show will be free of charge until the capacity of the cultural venue is reached.
