This not only guarantees compliance with our obligations, but also reinforces the confidence of the companies with our city council.”
Regarding the municipal budget for the year 2026, which was approved in the last plenary session in November, Bravo has highlighted the increase it represents compared to the previous year, highlighting the investment chapter, which on this occasion has increased its amount by 63% compared to the current year, which will serve to finance the start of important strategic projects that are electoral commitments of the current Government team, such as the tender for the drafting of the project and the work of the Santa Fe de Los municipal stadium. Boliches-Antonio Basilio and the creation of an underground car park under its entire floor with capacity for about 1,000 vehicles, among other actions.
Likewise, the councilor of the Treasury has indicated that in the last plenary session, the General Accounts corresponding to the years 2022 and 2023, the financial controls and the 2026 fiscal calendar were also approved, in which a 30% bonus is maintained for people registered in the IBI receipts, the garbage rate and the GEMER.
Before concluding, Rosa Ana Bravo thanked “the high levels of collection, the result of the commitment of our neighbors, who are good payers. This economic solidity is possible thanks to the responsible management of the City Council and, of course, thanks to the joint effort of all citizens. We will continue working on this path of stability, transparency and efficiency, always with the aim of improving public services and continuing to promote the growth of Fuengirola.”
