The Fuengirola City Council organizes eight flamenco zambombas during the month of December in the Parque de España
In addition, private entities will also bring the sound of Christmas to different public spaces such as Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza Reyes Católicos or San Isidro Labrador and Marbella streets.
1/12/2025 – The Fuengirola City Council has organized eight flamenco zambombas during the month of December that will take place in the Cristóbal Blanca del Moral auditorium in the Parque de España. This was announced this morning by the Festival Councilor, Isabel Moreno, who pointed out that, in addition, private entities have also promoted musical performances that will bring the typical sound of Christmas to different public spaces in the city.
“The typical Andalusian sound at Christmas comes through the zambombas. Meetings between friends and neighbors who will enjoy the typical sound of these holidays in the multiple performances organized by the City Council and also individuals who have wanted to collaborate with us to make this Christmas live music and young local and provincial talents be the protagonists,” explained Moreno.
Thus, the mayor has gone on to explain the different zambombas that are going to take place in the Cristóbal Blanca del Moral auditorium in the Parque de España, on different dates and times. The first appointment will be this Friday the 5th, at 7:30 p.m., and will be led by Ana Serrano and friends. The next day it will be the group Calle La Noria who will perform at the same time, while on Sunday, December 7, at 8:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the group Sonakay.
The zambombas will return to the Parque de España on the 12th with a performance by El Caletero and friends, at 7:30 p.m. At that same time, Juani Guerrero and family will perform the next day, while Encarni Navarro will be the protagonist of the zambomba that will be held on Sunday, December 14, at 5:30 p.m.
On December 19, Las Carlotas will sing to Christmas in the Parque de España starting at 7:30 p.m., while on the 22nd, starting at 7:30 p.m., Alicia Iranzo will be the one who will take the stage at the Parque de España.
In addition, of these eight zambombas that the City Council has organized in the Parque de España, there will be four other Christmas performances that have been organized by private entities in different parts of the city. Thus, on December 19, at 8:00 p.m., a zambomba will take place in Reyes Católicos square by ‘Los Salvajes del Rebalaje’ and Delia Membrive, courtesy of the Casa Consistorial Hotel and the Bámbola and Don Pedro establishments.
That Friday, December 19, at the same time, San Isidro Labrador Street will also be the scene of a zambomba by the Hermandad del Rocío Choir, courtesy of the Los Verdiales restaurant. On the other hand, on Sunday, December 21, the Lima 12 establishment organizes the ‘Singing to Christmas’ zambomba on Marbella Street starting at 5:30 p.m.
Finally, on Friday, December 26, organized by the La Plaza cafeteria, the flamenco zambomba of Manuel Yunque and his 22 friends will arrive at the Plaza de la Constitución, starting at 8:00 p.m.
