12/1/2025 – The Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture in Fuengirola will host the painting exhibition ‘Land and Water’ by Paco Nieto from December 5 to January 7. This was announced today by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, and the author of the exhibition, which will be inaugurated this Friday at 8:00 p.m., with free admission.
“The exhibition Tierra y Agua, by Paco Nieto, will accompany us at the House of Culture throughout these Christmas holidays. We always receive many proposals from artists who want to exhibit their works and we have to make a selection. Sometimes it is something very complicated, but other times we find artists that we are clear from the beginning that we want to have in Fuengirola, so that all Fuengirola residents can enjoy their art and that is the case of Paco Nieto,” Romero highlighted.
In this sense, the councilor has indicated that “Paco Nieto’s life has always been linked to teaching but his artistic concerns have also always been within him and now we are going to be able to see the result of those concerns.”
For his part, Paco Nieto explained that “Fuengirola is a municipality that I have been very fond of for a long time. I come here sporadically and there are corners that I fall in love with. This exhibition is the result of my experience in Fuengirola and other places in Spain. Tierra y Agua is the result of those corners that I have been able to visit and that I make my own so that I can later expose them and show them to all the public who wants to come and see them.”
To conclude, Nieto has invited the people of Fuengirola to attend the exhibition, “because I am sure they will not be disappointed and I hope they enjoy my works as much as I have enjoyed creating them.”
