8/14/2025 – The Pacos neighborhood will celebrate its popular verbena from August 28 to 30, which will have activities and performances for all ages. This has been announced today by the deputy mayor of the Boliches, Rosa Ana Bravo; and the Councilor for Fiestas, Isabel Moreno, who have announced the program of this celebration, which will begin on Thursday, August 28, starting at 9:00 p.m., and will always take place in the Suomi Square, until Saturday 30.
“The Los Pacos neighborhood is adorned in August to celebrate its verbena, that the Fuengirola City Council organizes side by side with the Association of Neighbors’ Tree of the Pacos, so that the surroundings of the Suomi Square and Yunquera Street are filled in color, good atmosphere and musical performances, for enjoyment of neighbors and visitors,” said Isabel Moreno.
For its part, Rosa Ana Bravo has been “very happy”, to be able to accompany one more year to all the residents of the Pacos in the celebration of their traditional verbena and has wanted to “thank the great work that the Department of Fiestas does so that everything is about and that everything goes well, as well as to the Association of Neighbors of the Pacos, that every year they develop a great work and turn in the celebration of its verbena”.
The battery of activities organized by the City of Fuengirola and the neighborhood association The Tree of the neighborhood will begin on Thursday 28, at 9:00 p.m., when the official inauguration will take place, although from 7:30 p.m. the Charanga Lanz will be touring the streets of Los Pacos to prepare the environment. The performances will begin at 9:15 p.m. with the Juani Guerrero dance academy; The Gymnastics Group of the Pacos will take the stage at 22:15 and the golden brooch will put the performance of the orchestra point and apart from 23:15 hours.
On Friday, August 29, the activities will begin at 9:30 p.m., when the tribute that the Association ‘The Tree’ to different neighbors of the neighborhood will take place every year. The closure of the verbena will arrive with the musical performance of ‘Cal y Canto’, which will begin at 23:00 hours.
