The Department of Youth of Fuengirola opens the registration period of theater and song workshops
Students who were enrolled last year can register from August 15 to September 1 and new students, as of September 2. Registration for both activities should be carried out through the citizen card
8/14/2025 – The Department of Youth of the City of Fuengirola has opened the registration period of theater and song workshops. This was announced this morning by the councilor of the branch, Isaac Vargas, who explained that registrations must be made through the citizen card. Students who were enrolled last year can register from August 15 to September 1 and new students, starting on September 2 at 8:00 p.m.
“From the Department of Youth we announced the opening of the registrations for two of our annual workshops. From the City Council we want to continue supporting the cultural and artistic development of our young people, and that is why from tomorrow, August 15, we open the registration period for singing and theater workshops, which are taught from October to June in the building colors of the Boliches,” said Vargas.
Singing
“This is a municipal workshop that will be taught every Monday and Wednesday afternoon in the Colors Building,” explained the mayor. Students are divided into three age groups, the first turn is aimed at students from 6 to 12 years and takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second turn, for young people from 13 to 17 years, is taught from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. While the third turn, aimed at young people from 18 to 35 years, will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The price will be 29.90 euros/quarter for registered in Fuengirola and 42.70 euros/quarter for not registered in the city. From August 15 to September 1, inscriptions will be open for former students and from that date, registrations will open for new students.
Theater
The theater workshop takes place from October to June and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoon. In this case, the workshop is divided into four shifts. The first one is aimed at children from 6 to 9 years old and is taught (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The second is for children 10 to 13 years and develops from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The third, offered from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., is intended for students from 14 to 17 years; And the fourth turn, which takes place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., is for students 18 to 30 years.
Since last year a fifth group for people over 30 years of age has been included. It will be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., also in the Color Building.
The price will be 29.90 euros/quarter for registered in Fuengirola and 42.70 euros/quarter for not registered in the city in the first three groups. The fourth and fifth group, which have two class hours, is priced at 59.80 euros/quarter for registered and 85.40 euros/quarter for not registered in Fuengirola.
Registration, both for the theater and singing workshop, are open, through the citizen card, from tomorrow, August 15 to September 1 for former students and, from September 2, from 8:00 p.m., for new students.
