11/11/2025 – The Fuengirola City Council is advancing in the road remodeling of Torreblanca with the reform of Hortensia street, whose works have been carried out for a few days. This action is in addition to others that the City Council has carried out in the area in recent times, such as Tomillo Street or the seven renovated roads in the sector known as PMI-3.
“We continue to renew public spaces in Torreblanca. With minor actions, but of vital importance, as is the case of Hortensia Street. The objective of these works is to renew its appearance, but also its interior canals. We are talking about a small street, with no exit, but in which Fuengirola residents also live who deserve a street with the same services and aspects as any other resident. We continue working, hand in hand with all of them, to improve our city,” explained Mayor Ana. Mula, who has visited the works in the company of the Councilor for Infrastructure, José Sánchez, and the neighborhood councillor, María Hernández.
Thus, this intervention has a budget of 48,380.04 euros according to the municipal budget. The company that is executing them is Probisa Vías y Obras, which has committed to finishing them within a period of 35 days.
The objective of the action is to completely renew the layout of this road, which is about 95 linear meters long, both its exterior appearance and the hydraulic pipelines and other public services.
The remodeling of Hortensia Street joins other recent interventions in Torreblanca, such as Tomillo Street, the renewal of the Las Presas path or the seven renovated roads in the sector known as PMI-3.
