Marenostrum Fuengirola adds a new electronic music event to its 2026 lineup with the participation of Underworld

11/11/2025 – Marenostrum Fuengirola today presented a new electronic music event that adds to its 2026 lineup. The Councilor for Culture and Major Events, Rodrigo Romero, held a press conference in which he announced the addition of a performance by the legendary British band Underworld on August 8, in an event aimed at lovers of the most authentic electronic sound, which will come from the Satisfaxion brand.
During his speech, Romero highlighted the importance of continuing to expand the Marenostrum Fuengirola programming with top-level proposals that reinforce the cultural and tourist projection of the city. “These types of events demonstrate Fuengirola’s capacity to host large-format shows and attract diverse audiences, always maintaining the commitment to artistic quality and organizational excellence,” said the mayor.
The new Satisfaxion event comes after the success of its previous editions, which have featured international artists and avant-garde productions. In 2026, Underworld will headline the bill, offering a performance that promises to become one of the most anticipated moments of the musical summer on the Costa del Sol.
Romero has also stressed that the consolidation of Marenostrum Fuengirola as one of the most outstanding outdoor performing spaces in Spain “is the result of the joint work between the City Council, the promoters and the public, who year after year support a diverse program with great economic and cultural impact for the city.”
