10/27/2025 – Fuengirola’s Plaza de la Constitución will host a new edition of the Christmas Market in support of the local business community and to promote Christmas shopping in the city’s businesses. This municipal initiative, which will take place from November 27 to December 21 in this central enclave, will be made up of 17 wooden cabins. The registration period for interested businesses will be open from today until November 16, as reported by the responsible councilor Francisco Javier García Lara.
“At the City Council we are already preparing all the activities that will set the city up for next Christmas and one of the most requested by Fuengirola businesses is the Christmas Market, which this year will be located again in the Plaza de la Constitución,” said García Lara, pointing out that “we want to invite those establishments that have commercial activity in our municipality and that want to participate in one of the wooden cabins that we will install in the Plaza de la Constitución to carry out the application, whose deadline begins today, Monday, October 27, and ends on November 16.”
In this regard, Lara explained that “those interested will be able to download an application from the municipal website or pick it up in person at the City Hall information desk. All establishments interested in participating, once the application has been submitted, must present a proposal describing the type of items or services they are going to offer, taking into account that they have to be related to Christmas.”
Thus, with the aim of recreating as Christmassy an atmosphere as possible, the City Council will select the participating businesses from among those that submit their application. “A jury will study the different proposals and will evaluate those projects that are most linked to the celebration of Christmas.”
The Market will open on November 27 “and from that day on, every Saturday, we will be able to count on the popular snowfall. An activity that is very popular and that creates a magnificent Christmas atmosphere in the Plaza de la Constitución”, explained García Lara.
