The Fuengirola City Council program the broader security device of recent years for the Rosario 2025 Fair

10/2/2025 -The Fuengirola City Council has scheduled the broader security device of recent years for the 2025 Rosary Fair. This has been announced this morning the Councilor for Citizen Security, José Luis Ponce, who has offered a press conference with the Cleaning and Mobility Councilors, Carmen Díaz and Isabel González, respectively, to break down the special devices designed this year on the occasion of the patron saint parties.

Thus, in matters of citizen security, José Luis Ponce stressed that “we are going to have the largest security device that has ever been put at the Rosary Fair, with greater presence in the fairgrounds and the nearby neighborhoods, as well as during the flamenco mass and the procession, and there will be random traffic controls in the accesses and exits of the fairgrounds”.

In this sense, the mayor has first thanked the civic behavior shown by the citizens during the Romería del Rosario and has requested “to all those who come to the fair, that same civic behavior and that responsibility that they showed a few days ago in the pilgrimage”.

As for the local police device designed for the Fair, the mayor has indicated that “it is based on which we already performed in 2024, which was a success and now we improve the weak points that we detected then. Specifically, we will reinforce with more police presence the house of booths, because we consider that there it is necessary that the police need to be more visible, and we will also continue with the reinforcement in the neighborhoods of the neighborhoods, Influx of people and, if the police are, as we saw last year, those side effects of the fair are mitigated a bit.

In total, as Ponce explained, “there will be 375 services. I insist, it will be the largest local police device that has ever been at the Rosario Fair.”

On the other hand, the mayor of Citizen Security has also highlighted the National Police Device, which “this year also makes the greatest deployment he has ever done. We will have UPR (prevention and reaction unit), which is the unity of the National Police that is responsible for the security against great masses of people, in the afternoon and night. The Councilor for Mobility, Isabel González, explained that “one more year we are going to display bags of parking lots that will be located on Andalusia avenue, where we have already changed the online parking lots by battery parking lots in both directions, and two plots will also be enabled, one on each side of the avenue, so that it can be parked, that we will be attached, that we will be parked.

With these parking bags, “we intend that it can be easily parking and traffic is not congested. But in addition, we also recommend the use of public transport. Cleaning

For its part, the Councilor for Cleaning, Carmen Díaz, has thanks in the first place “to all the people who attended the pilgrimage last Sunday. As for the cleaning device during the fair, the mayor has indicated that “we carry throughout this week preparing the fairgrounds so that next day 7 looks as it deserves.
