Singers from Híspalis, La Húngara and Mujeres por Sevillanas lead the line-up of the Verbena de San Juan de El Boquetillo from June 21 to 24

6/12/2026 – Singers from Híspalis, La Húngara and Mujeres por Sevillanas head the line-up for the Verbena de San Juan de El Boquetillo from June 21 to 24. The Fiestas Councilor of the Fuengirola City Council, Isabel Moreno, has presented the program of events for the festivities, which will once again be a meeting point for the residents of this neighborhood and for Fuengirola residents and visitors who come to the neighborhood on those days.
“When the month of June arrives, the El Boquetillo neighborhood is decked out to celebrate the Verbena de San Juan, which on this occasion will take place from Sunday, June 21 to Wednesday, June 24 and will have a wide program of activities and performances that will take place on Miguel Bueno, Menorca and Boquetillo streets for the enjoyment of the surrounding residents and all of Fuengirola,” highlighted Isabel Moreno.
In this sense, the mayor has indicated that this year, as a novelty, every day there will be a noise-free hour, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so that minors and adults who suffer from autism spectrum disorders (ASD) can enjoy the attractions.
Isabel Moreno has gone on to detail the programming, indicating that the inauguration of the Verbena de San Juan will take place on Sunday the 21st at 9:30 p.m. and has indicated that, immediately afterwards, the performances will begin with a show by the Municipal Group of Choirs and Dances. Next, the group Mecamela will take the stage (10:30 p.m.), which will give way to the performance of La Húngara at 11:30 p.m.
On Monday, June 22, the performances will begin at half past eight in the afternoon with the Alicia Iranzo dance school, followed by performances by the Juan Antonio Pérez ‘Azabache’ dance academy (9:30 p.m.), Calle La Noria (10:30 p.m.) and Mujeres por sevillanas, with the participation of María de La Colina, Las Soles and Las Carlotas (11:45 p.m.).
On Tuesday, June 23, Children’s Day will be celebrated and children’s attractions will cost 50% of their usual price. In addition, at 8:00 p.m. the big children’s party will take place with a theatrical performance by Peladilla Producciones. Immediately afterwards, it will be the turn of the performances by the ‘Baila Conmigo’ Academy (9:00 p.m.), the Punto y Apart Orchestra (10:00 p.m.) and Paco y Llina (11:30 p.m.). In addition, starting at midnight, San Francisco beach will host the traditional fireworks display on San Juan Night.
On Wednesday the 24th, the last day of the festival, you can enjoy performances by Hermanos Ortigosa on the Miguel Bueno street stage (10:00 p.m.) and to say goodbye to the festivities until next year, the Híspalis Singers will perform starting at 11:00 p.m.
Before concluding, the councilor has invited “the residents of El Boquetillo and all the people of Fuengirola and people who visit us to enjoy these festivities, which will have good music, activities for all audiences and an unbeatable atmosphere.”
