The Fuengirola House of Culture hosts the painting exhibition ‘Open your mind’ by Wolfgang Durán from June 12 to July 10

The exhibition brings together a collection of works in an impressionist style that express emotions and life experiences through color and abstraction.

6/9/2026 – The Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture in Fuengirola will host the exhibition ‘Open your mind’, by the young artist Wolfgang Durán, from June 12 to July 10. This was announced today by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, who has invited neighbors and visitors to discover this artistic proposal, which can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

During the presentation, Romero highlighted the personal and emotional nature of this exhibition, composed of a collection of impressionist-style works in which the author captures feelings, experiences and reflections through abstract compositions full of color and sensitivity.

Born in Malaga on November 5, 2002 and living in the Cadiz town of Algodonales, Wolfgang Durán discovered a form of expression in painting from a very early age. Son of a Spanish mother and German father, he found in art a way to channel his emotions and shape his personal experiences.

As the artist himself explains, his dual cultural origin led him for years to feel different, a sensation that he transformed into creativity through painting. From the age of ten he began to put his concerns, disappointments and experiences on paper, turning each work into a reflection of his inner world.

Durán also highlights the support received from his family and his teachers, whom he thanks for having contributed to him being able to freely develop his personality and always maintain his authenticity. Likewise, it advocates values such as empathy, understanding and the need to break down prejudices to build a more open and inclusive society.

Despite his youth, the artist already has an outstanding exhibition career, with exhibitions held since 2019 in cities such as Ronda, Estepona, Málaga, Cádiz and Seville.

Now he arrives in Fuengirola with Open your mind, a proposal that invites the viewer to enter a universe of emotions and personal experiences through a vibrant, expressive painting full of symbolism.

The exhibition can be visited until July 10 at the Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture, from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
