The Fuengirola Youth Area offers wok cooking and healthy food workshops for young people between 16 and 35 years old.
Registration for both proposals, with a price of 5 euros, will open tomorrow from 8:00 p.m. through the Citizen Card
5/26/2026 – The Youth Councilor of the Fuengirola City Council, Isaac Vargas, presented this morning two new activities aimed at the city’s young people: a wok cooking workshop and another on healthy or fit cooking, initiatives with which the Consistory continues to expand its educational and participatory leisure programming.

“From the Department of Youth we continue to promote proposals so that young people can develop their concerns, learn new skills and enjoy their free time in a dynamic and enriching way. On this occasion we present two cooking workshops with two different modalities that are very attractive to them, such as wok cooking and healthy food,” explained Vargas.
The wok cooking workshop will be held on June 9 and 10, while the healthy food workshop will take place on June 17 and 18. Both activities will take place in the Colores building, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Each workshop will have a total duration of five hours, in which participants will learn basic techniques and practical recipes related to each culinary specialty. In addition, they will be able to prepare and taste their own dishes during the sessions.
“We want to offer useful and attractive activities, which also promote healthy habits and coexistence among young people. These workshops will allow them to acquire culinary knowledge in a fun and participatory way,” added the mayor.
Registration will cost 5 euros per workshop and must be formalized through the Citizen Card starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27, from 8:00 p.m.
