The Fuengirola Youth Area promotes a free introductory workshop to urban drawing

Aimed at young people aged 16 to 35, it will be held in the Colores building on May 13 and 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will culminate on the 31st with an outdoor session. Registrations can be made through the Citizen Card starting April 24 at 6:00 p.m.

2374/2026 – The Youth Area of ​​Fuengirola City Council has launched a free introductory workshop to drawing and urban drawing, aimed at young people between 16 and 35 years old. The activity will take place in the Colores building on May 13 and 20, and will have a final outdoor practical session on May 31.

This was announced by the councilor of the area, Isaac Vargas, and the teacher in charge of teaching the workshop, Lourdes Huertas.

“We present a new initiative aimed at the young people of Fuengirola so that they can take their first steps in artistic drawing or perfect their technique,” ​​said Vargas, who highlighted the educational and creative nature of the proposal.

The sessions will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Colores building, in Los Boliches. The final day, scheduled for May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., will have a special format, since it will take place outdoors coinciding with a meeting of the Urban Sketchers collective. The location of this last session will be confirmed soon.

As for registration, they will be completely free and can be formalized starting April 24 at 6:00 p.m. through the Citizen Card.

For her part, Lourdes Huertas explained that the workshop will allow participants to “learn the essential fundamentals of drawing, regardless of their previous level.” In this sense, he stressed that the activity will offer “a practical and creative approach, aimed at artistic expression in urban and outdoor environments.”
