The Fuengirola Youth Area launches a free calisthenics workshop
Registrations can be made through the Citizen Card starting April 17 at 6:00 p.m.
4/16/2026 – The Youth Area of the Fuengirola City Council has launched a free calisthenics workshop that will take place at the Skate Plaza Ignacio Echeverría facilities, in the space specially conditioned for the practice of this sport. This was announced by the Youth Councilor, Isaac Vargas.
Registration to participate in this activity will open on April 17 starting at 6:00 p.m., and must be formalized through the Citizen Card.
The workshop is aimed at young people between 10 and 35 years old and will be organized into two age groups. On the one hand, participants aged 10 to 14 will attend the sessions on May 6 and 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on May 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. On the other hand, young people between 15 and 35 years old will receive their classes on May 13 and 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on May 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Calisthenics is a sports discipline based on the use of one’s own body weight to work on strength, resistance and coordination, allowing different muscle groups to be strengthened without the need for additional equipment.
With this initiative, the Youth Area reinforces its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyle habits and promoting the practice of outdoor physical activity among the young population of the municipality.
