Registration period open for a free Building Painter course aimed at unemployed people in Fuengirola

It will be taught from May 4 to June 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is open in person until April 24 at the Department of Training and Job Creation (4th floor of the Mayor’s Office of Los Boliches)

The Fuengirola City Council, through the Department of Training and Job Creation, has opened the registration period to participate in a Building Painting course aimed at unemployed people in the municipality. The councilor for the area, Isaac Vargas, explained that this training action, lasting 150 hours, will be taught from May 4 to June 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“Registrations are open until April 24 and can be done in person at the Department of Training and Job Creation, located on the 4th floor of the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office,” said Vargas.

This course is aimed at training professionals trained in the preparation, maintenance and application of paints on the interior and exterior of buildings. Throughout the training, which combines theory and practice, participants will acquire skills in surface treatment, use of tools and materials, application of different types of paint and finishes, as well as compliance with safety and quality standards. The course prepares the student to perform in new construction, maintenance or rehabilitation of residential, commercial and industrial spaces.

“We have already carried out other courses aimed at the construction and maintenance sector and now we are betting on building painting, which is a profile highly in demand by companies,” Vargas highlighted.
