The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will feature musical performances and gastronomic tasting
3/31/2026 – The Parque de Los Deportes, in Los Pacos, will be the setting next Saturday, April 11, starting at 12:00 p.m., for a day of coexistence with the Nordic community, open to all residents of the city. This was announced this morning by the Councilor for Tourism, José Luis Ponce, and the councilor responsible for Los Pacos Norte, Julio Rodríguez, who highlighted that the event will combine culture, music and gastronomy in a festive and participatory atmosphere.

The day will include performances by local and Scandinavian musical groups, as well as a paella and drinks tasting. “It is a festival themed in Nordic culture, but designed for the enjoyment of all residents. We want to promote coexistence and cultural exchange between Fuengirola residents and residents from countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland,” said Ponce.
The program will also feature the participation of the Chassé dance academy and Scandinavian musical groups, including the Swedish band Dance & Dreams. “It will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy the good weather in an outdoor environment, with live music and a gastronomic offer for all attendees,” added the mayor.
For his part, Julio Rodríguez has highlighted the importance of this type of initiatives in a city characterized by its diversity. “Nearly ten thousand citizens of Nordic origin reside in Fuengirola. This day is an opportunity to value our cosmopolitan character, get closer to their traditions and strengthen the ties of coexistence, especially in neighborhoods like Los Pacos Norte, where this community has a prominent presence,” he indicated.
