3/23/2026 – The Councilor for Families, Equality and Social Welfare, Cristina Bornao, presented today at a press conference the XVI Fair of Business Women and Entrepreneurs of Fuengirola, whose registration period opens today and which will be held from May 15 to 17 in the Plaza de la Constitución.
Bornao has highlighted that this initiative “is the perfect framework to boost small local businesses, promote female entrepreneurship, give visibility and value the business activity of women in our town.”
Likewise, she explained that the event will not only serve as a showcase to publicize products and services, but also as a meeting point to establish synergies between established businesswomen and women who are starting their project, thus contributing to the promotion and strengthening of the female business network.
The fair will have 17 booths and is aimed at both businesswomen with businesses located in Fuengirola and entrepreneurs registered in the town. On this occasion, the fair will have a shared stand for those participants who cannot attend for the full three days. Interested parties must indicate in their request their preferred day and time, which will be assigned by the organization based on availability.
Applications can be collected in the Equality Area, which is located in the Colores de Los Boliches building, or downloaded through the Electronic Headquarters of the Fuengirola City Council, and must be submitted to the Consistory’s Entry Registry. The admission period will remain open until April 17, 2026.
Regarding the required documentation, businesswomen must provide, among other documents, a photocopy of their DNI, registration in the IAE, deed of incorporation in the case of a company and TC1 if they have workers. For their part, entrepreneurs must present ID and their business project.
