Registration open for the I Fuengirola City Triathlon
The test is included in the XXVI Provincial Triathlon Circuit and will be held in the supersprint mode (400 meters swimming, 7.5 km by bicycle and 2.5 km running). 3/17/2026 – Next Saturday, May 16, Fuengirola will hold the first edition of the ‘Ciudad de Fuengirola’ Triathlon, a sporting event that will bring together triathletes from different parts of the province and Andalusia in the city. With the aim of promoting this discipline among the residents, the Fuengirola City Council has reserved 50 places at a reduced price of 10 euros for those registered. Registration opens tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18.

The Councilor for Sports, Julio Rodríguez, encourages local athletes to take advantage of this opportunity. “The supersprint distance is ideal for athletes from our athletics clubs, swimmers from CN Fuengirola and cyclists from our city to live their first experience competing in a triathlon and also at home with a simple and spectacular route.”
The test has 350 registrations. Federated triathletes will pay 18 euros and non-federated ones 28. Meanwhile, locals registered in Fuengirola will have a price of 10 euros in the tab enabled on the official website of the Andalusian Triathlon Federation.https://triatlonandalucia.org/competiciones/i-triatlon-fuengirola/‘
The test will be held in supersprint mode, with a course of 400 meters of swimming, 7.5 kilometers of cycling and 2.5 kilometers of running. The swimming segment will take place on Las Gaviotas beach, in Los Boliches, while the cycling section will run along an urban circuit that will run along the Paseo Marítimo, Churruca street, Condes de San Isidro avenue and Ramón y Cajal avenue and Los Boliches avenue. The foot race will take place entirely along the Paseo Marítimo.
The Department of Sports encourages all interested parties to formalize their registration and participate in a sports day that will combine swimming, cycling and running in the privileged environment that Fuengirola offers.
