The Fuengirola Culture Area presents the 2026 theater program

1/29/2026 – The Culture Area of ​​the Fuengirola City Council has presented the programming of the theatrical performances planned for the year 2026, which will take place in the House of Culture and the Peace Palace. The offer includes a total of sixteen shows between the months of January and November, collected in an informative diptych titled ‘Fuengirola with the Theatre’.

This was announced by the councilor of the area, Rodrigo Romero, who explained that the City Council has launched three subscription modalities to facilitate public access to the programming: a spring subscription, for 15 euros, which includes four functions; an autumn season ticket, for 12 euros, with three performances; and an annual subscription, for 25 euros, which allows you to enjoy a total of seven works.

“The 2026 theater program is now available in all municipal buildings, with all the performances that will be hosted by the House of Culture and the Peace Palace,” said Romero, who added that the programming combines shows contracted directly by the City Council with others in which the artists themselves manage the box office. “In this sense, municipal shows have a single price of five euros and are those included in the different subscriptions, while other events have prices set by the companies or artists,” he explained.

The programming began on January 24 with the play ‘A pound of flesh’, performed by the Teatro Mijas company to benefit Fuensocial, at the Palacio de la Paz.

On February 7, at 8:00 p.m., ‘Two men alone, without dot com or anything’ will arrive at the Peace Palace, with tickets at 18 euros, available at https://giglon.com. On February 19, at 8:00 p.m., the House of Culture will host the play ‘Solvitur Ambundo’, with tickets at 5 euros. On February 27, at 8:00 p.m., the zarzuela will return to the Peace Palace with ‘La del manojo de rosas’, by the Teatro Lírico Andaluz. Tickets will cost 10 euros in the stalls and 15 euros in the boxes.

During the month of March, three shows will be performed: ‘Mujeres de oro’, by Producciones Lastra, on the 5th at the Casa de la Cultura (8:00 p.m., 5 euros); Miguel Lago’s show, on the 19th at the Peace Palace (8:30 p.m., 22 euros, tickets at https://giglon.com); and ‘Hambre de Quixote’, by La Líquida Teatro, on March 26 at the Casa de la Cultura (8:00 p.m., 5 euros).

On April 11 and 12, at 8:00 p.m., the Peace Palace will host one of the highlights of the program: ‘Entregamos’, by Manu Sánchez, with tickets at 28 euros available at https://giglon.com. On April 16, the play ‘Room Service’, by the Geranio Produce company, will be performed at the House of Culture, with tickets at 5 euros.

The Muñoz Seca company will offer its ‘Carousel of farce, so you can’t stop laughing’ at the House of Culture on May 20, 21 and 22. Tickets, at 5 euros, will benefit AFESOL Mental Health and will go on sale at the House of Culture two weeks before the performances.

Fall Program

The programming will resume on October 22 with the play ‘The Double Life of Virginia Woolf’, by Mara Bonilla Producciones, at the House of Culture at 8:00 p.m. (5 euros).

On October 29, at the same time and in the same space, La Góndola Producciones will represent ‘The Colloquium of the Dogs’, with tickets at 5 euros.

On November 7, Teatro Lírico Andaluz will bring the zarzuela ‘La tabernera del Puerto’ to the Peace Palace. Tickets will be priced at 10 euros in the stalls and 15 euros in the boxes.

On November 12, the House of Culture will host the play ‘The Secret Language’, by Eunice Producciones, with tickets at 5 euros.

The Muñoz Seca company will return from November 24 to 27, at 8:00 p.m., with the work ‘Five-Star Gulfs’. Tickets, at 5 euros, will benefit CUDECA and can be purchased at the House of Culture two weeks before the performances.

To close the program, on November 28 the Peace Palace will host the performance ‘The Guardians of the Verse’, promoted by the Generation Center of 27. Admission will be free until capacity is reached and the schedule will be confirmed soon.

Fertilizers

The spring pass includes ‘Solvitur Ambundo’ (February 19), ‘Women of Gold’ (March 5), ‘Quixote’s Hunger’ (March 26) and ‘Room Service’ (April 16), for a price of 15 euros.

The autumn season ticket, for 12 euros, includes ‘The Double Life of Virginia Woolf’ (October 22), ‘The Colloquium of Dogs’ (October 29) and ‘The Secret Language’ (November 12).

The annual subscription, which includes the seven works included in the spring and autumn subscriptions, has a price of 25 euros.
