The registration period is open for the second semester of the training modalities of the Fuengirola House of Culture

From January 15 to 30, classes are renewed for students who have been enrolled since October and wish to continue participating in training until the end of June. Starting on February 2, the registration period opens for new students in the places that remain vacant.

1/13/2026 – This coming Thursday, January 15, the registration period opens for the second semester of the different training modalities taught at the Fuengirola House of Culture until the end of June. This was announced today by councilor Rodrigo Romero, who explained that until January 30, students who were already participating in the workshops will be able to renew their registration and, starting on February 2, the registration period will open for the places that remain vacant for new students.

“On February 16, the second period of the Casa de la Cultura courses begins. In most of these training actions, such as bookbinding, regional, ballroom or Sevillian dances, students can join without any problem. But others, such as the University Access course, require that there first be a short talk with the teacher, because you cannot start from scratch in the middle of the course,” explained Romero.

In this sense, the mayor has indicated that “for this reason, from January 15 to 30, the registration period is open for all those who want to renew their registration. In this way, all those who want to continue in the second semester will be able to do so because they have their place reserved. From January 30, the places that have not been renewed will be released and anyone who wishes to enter that course will be able to register.”

The modalities that the Culture area offers in this 2025/2026 academic year are the following: Ballet, Regional Dances, Ballroom Dances, Sevillanas, Book Binding and Restoration; English, German and Spanish for foreigners. In addition, the Culture area teaches university access courses and training cycles to provide residents with an improvement in their academic knowledge. In this case, students already enrolled will renew as of February 2.
