1/12/2026 – Fuengirola City Council has promoted a new edition of the White Week School to help residents reconcile their work and family life. This was announced today by the Councilor for Education, Carmen Díaz, together with the co-directors of the organizing company Vaiana Espacio Infantil y Familiar, Paula Carrión and Ana Calzado, who explained that this activity will take place from February 23 to 27 in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo and will be aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old.
“After the success of our Christmas camp, many families are asking us for information about the Semana Blanca camp,” Díaz explained, noting that “on this occasion we are going to develop a camp that we have called ‘Málaga se Juego’, to facilitate the reconciliation of family and work life and also so that children can get to know our entire region.”
In this sense, the mayor of Education has indicated that “it will take place in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo, which has classrooms, an assembly hall and has very close facilities such as the Lope de Vega library or the sports pavilions of the Elola complex, where they will also carry out activities to work on the knowledge acquired and enjoy it.”
The price of the Semana Blanca School will be 60 euros for those registered in Fuengirola and the registration period will be open, from today until next February 6, on the website: https://www.vaianaespacioinfantilyfamiliar.com/semanablanca/
For her part, Paula Carrión explained that “in this camp we are going to develop the ‘Málaga se Juega’ activity in which children will enjoy different activities related to our province so that they have more knowledge of them, always working through play, which is how children learn best.”
In this sense, Ana Calzado has indicated that “we are going to take a trip through the province of Malaga through the game. We will mentally tour the regions of Axarquía, the Costa del Sol, Ronda… so that the little ones learn a little more about Malaga.”
The Municipal White Week School will take place from February 23 to 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 12.
