Rodrigo Romero has highlighted that the programming has been aimed at facilitating access to culture for all citizens, promoting cultural training, promoting the participation of cultural groups, preserving heritage and projecting the image of Fuengirola at a national and international level.
In the heritage field, the completion of the General Intervention Project of the Roman City of Suel has stood out, developed for six years and extended for five more years, as well as the beginning of the works on the Visitor Center and Archaeological Warehouse in the Peace Palace. To conclude, Romero congratulated “each and every one of the workers in the Culture Area for the work they have carried out throughout the year, which has been very hard and with a lot of activity, from the employees of the House of Culture to the librarians, as well as the members of the Municipal Music Band, who have given everything to carry out very complicated repertoires. In general terms we can say that in 2025 we have fulfilled the objective of bringing culture closer to all “Fuengiroleños.”
