The Fuengirola City Council programs this Christmas more than a hundred activities, most of them free and that will reach all neighborhoods
Pastorals, zambombas, neighborhood gatherings, the medieval festival, the Great Christmas Bonfire, the New Year’s Eve party or the Three Kings Parade, among others, are some of the proposals. 11/26/2025 – The Fuengirola City Council has scheduled more than a hundred activities for the whole family for this Christmas, most of them free, as reported today by the Councilor for Festivals and Traditions, Isabel Moreno. “When we prepare the Christmas program, we think about the tastes of all the people who come and the different generations that live in our city. In this edition we have designed more than a hundred activities, most of them free and that will reach the different neighborhoods of Fuengirola with the performances offered by the Santa Fe de Los Boliches pastoral and the Hermandad del Rocío choir,” explained Moreno.
The councilor has also highlighted the variety of activities that have been scheduled “such as the zambombas, the neighborhood gatherings, the Medieval Festival, the reception of the royal pages and of course, the great Parade of their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East. We should feel proud to live in our city and be able to enjoy an extensive Christmas program designed for the whole family and that reaches all the neighborhoods.”
Pastoral
The performances of the Santa Fe de Los Boliches pastoral will take place on Tuesday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m., in the Plaza Suomi de Los Pacos; on December 4, at 5:00 p.m., in Plaza Punta Umbría; On the 5th, the Santa Fe pastoral will perform, together with the Youth Singing workshop, at the Christmas party in the La Calerita neighborhood starting at 5:00 p.m.; while on the 9th they will arrive at the Plaza de la Hispanidad, at 6:00 p.m. In addition, on Friday, December 12, the Plaza de Los Marineros will host the performance of the Hermandad del Rocío choir, while on Saturday the 13th in the morning a Christmas party will be held in the Europa Park in Torreblanca with performances by the children’s group Cirklas and the Santa Fe de Los Boliches pastoral, while in the afternoon a Christmas party will be held in the Plaza de San José in the El Boquetillo neighborhood that will feature performances by the Santa Fe de Los pastoral. Bowling clubs and the Rocío choir.
Zambombas
As for the zambombas, Moreno has indicated that on December 3, at the Peace Palace, a flamenco zambomba will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. by Juani Guerrero, organized by the Senior Citizens Area. Invitations to attend can be picked up starting November 18 at the Senior Citizens’ offices on Blanca Paloma Street.
In addition, the Cristóbal Blanca del Moral auditorium in Parque de España will host a zambomba on December 5 by Ana Serrano and friends, starting at 8:00 p.m.; On the 6th it will be Calle La Noria who will perform on the same stage at 7:30 p.m.; while a day later, it will be the group Soniquete who will offer a flamenco zambomba. Miguel El Caletero and friends will sing for Christmas on December 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Juani Guerrero and family will star in a zambomba on the 13th at the same time, while Encarni Navarro will offer the zambomba ‘La flor de Málaga’ on Sunday, December 14th starting at 5:30 p.m.
On the other hand, on Friday, December 19, Plaza Reyes Católicos will host, at 8:00 p.m., a zambomba by Los Salvajes del Rebalaje and Delia Membrive; and on Saturday the 20th, the Seneca club at the Fairgrounds will host a bowling zambomba by Pastoral Santa Fe and the group Los de Siempre. The Plaza de la Constitución will also be the scene of a zambomba that will take place on December 26, at 8:00 p.m., led by Manuel Yunke and his 22 friends.
Tenure of El Boquetillo
In addition, as Moreno explained, the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo will be the scene of different activities. The appointments will be on Friday, December 12, at 7:00 p.m., with the children’s comic magic show El Estrépito; on Sunday the 14th, at 5:30 p.m., with the conference ‘Mental health in adolescence’ by María Velasco; on Tuesday the 16th, at 5:00 p.m., with a Christmas crafts workshop for children ages 6 to 12 led by Cintia Rainhardt; on Wednesday the 17th, at 5:00 p.m., with a painting workshop on fabric painting taught by Virginia García and also aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old; and on Thursday the 18th, at 6:00 p.m., with a performance by the Youth Theater workshop directed by Mari Carmen Aragonés.
Other activities
On December 23, the Great Christmas Bonfire will arrive at the Plaza de la Constitución with performances by the Pastoral Santa Fe and the Hermandad del Rocío Choir, starting at 8:00 p.m.
The traditional medieval festival could not be missing from the Christmas programme. This year it will be celebrated on December 30 on Condes de San Isidro, San Antonio, Camino de Coín and Plaza Reyes Católicos streets.
An unavoidable event during the Christmas season is the New Year’s Eve party, which will be held in the Plaza de la Constitución, starting at 11:00 p.m. on December 31 and will feature a performance by Paco, Llina and family.
Three Wise Men
In January, the activity will be focused on the visit of the Three Wise Men of the East, with their spectacular Parade, which will take place on January 5, departing at 5:00 p.m. from Mallorca Street, once their majesties land their helicopter on the grass of the Elola stadium, at 4:00 p.m. But first, on the 2nd of the Reception of the Royal Pages will take place in the Plaza Reyes Católicos, which will feature children’s entertainment and will take place in two sessions at 12:00 and 17:00.

In addition to all these activities organized by the Festival Department, the transversal work of the rest of the council departments is also evident at Christmas, with different actions promoted from other municipal areas. These are the cases of the Department of Commerce, which develops an extensive program of actions to promote and energize local businesses; Sports, which organizes different sports activities and competitions in the Christmas spirit; Seniors with snacks for seniors in hotels in the city; the workshops and activities organized by the Youth Area; or the Christmas School, promoted by Education and Sports, to facilitate family reconciliation on these dates.
