The Fuengirola City Council commemorates the International Day of Entrepreneurial Women with a communication and personal branding workshop
It will be taught by Irene Moreno Montes and will be held on November 17, at 5:00 p.m., in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo with free entry until capacity is reached.
11/14/2025 – The Department of Families, Equality and Social Welfare, through the Equality Area, joins for another year the commemoration of the International Day of Entrepreneurial Women, a key date to make visible the role of all those women who lead projects, recognize their contribution to social progress and economic development, and reinforce institutional support for female talent.
This day also invites us to reflect on the difficulties and barriers that many women still encounter when starting a business, such as work-life balance, the lack of female role models, access to financing and other obstacles that limit their professional growth.
As stated by the councilor for the sector, Cristina Bornao, “from the Equality Area, the commitment to the female business community is firm. Proof of this is the Fuengirola Business and Entrepreneurial Women’s Fair, which this year celebrated its 15th edition. We have also recently held the ‘Fuengirola Connected’ event and, on the occasion of the International Day of Entrepreneurial Women, on November 17 we will hold, in the hall of events of the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo, a workshop titled ‘Public Speaking. Communication and Personal Brand’, which will be taught by Irene Moreno Montes, therapist, coach and trainer with more than 20 years of experience in female empowerment and communication.”
During the session, participants will receive techniques and tools to face the fear of speaking in public, improve their communication, manage their voice, become aware of body language and adopt more empowering postures. “In short, it is a workshop aimed at self-knowledge to learn to communicate from authenticity,” said Bornao.
The workshop will be held on November 17 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo. Admission will be free until capacity is reached. For more information, interested parties can contact the Equality Area.
