10/24/2025 – Fulanita Fest has today confirmed Chanel as the first artist in its fifth edition, which will be held on May 30, 2026, in Marenostrum Fuengirola. General tickets can now be purchased at www.marenostrumfuengirola.orgas reported today by the Councilor for Culture and Major Events, Rodrigo Romero, and the singer and promoter of the festival, Javier Ojeda.
“We began to reveal a lineup expected by many people, because if there is an event that generates expectation and true loyalty within the programming of the Marenostrum Fuengirola concert series, it is the Fulanita Fest, which had a spectacular first year and from then on all they have done is continue to grow and establish an idea, a product and a philosophy, not only during the day of the concert but throughout that week,” said Romero, pointing out that “Chanel is only the first name of the panel of artists who this year will be part of Fulanita, but over the next few weeks more names will be revealed.”
For his part, Javier Ojeda has highlighted that “in addition to her undoubted qualities as a dancer and as a singer, Chanel is leading her career in a quite effective way. After the boom of her hit ‘SloMo’, she has measured her steps very intelligently. She has known how to prepare a great show that everyone will be amazed by and apart from that, she is also preparing new material that will delight the public.”
Furthermore, Ojeda has pointed out that this fifth edition of the Fulanita Fest “is not going to disappoint anyone, because the next artists that we are going to reveal little by little, reach a very wide spectrum of ages, from artists whose audience is teenagers to people who come from my generation. We are talking about several icons of female music that we are all going to enjoy this summer at the Fulanita Fest.”
Singer, actress and dancer, Chanel’s career has not stopped growing since she represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, reaching third place thanks to her song “SloMo”.
The singer of Cuban origin has collaborated with great artists on the national scene and in 2024 she published her first studio album “Agua”, after signing with the Sony Music record label. Among his artistic career he was part of the original cast of Malinche, the musical. He also has several nominations and awards, including “Best Collaboration” at Los 40 Music Awards and “Best Video Clip” at the Odeón Awards, thanks to his song “Clavaito”, alongside Abraham Mateo.
Marenostrum Fuengirola reinforces its position in the programming of all types of cultural events, to offer a varied proposal aimed at all audiences.
