9/23/2025 – The Manuel Domínguez Vidarte Pavilion of the Santa Fe Fe de los Boliches will host, from Friday 26 to Sunday, September 28, the XVI International Hockey Line Tournament, which is included in the programming of ‘Fuengirola in form’. This has been announced by the Councilor for Sports, Julio Rodríguez, and the president of the Lions Inline Hockey Fuengirola Sports Club, Jari Nyman, who have explained that the appointment will have the participation of teams from Finland, England, Latvia, Sweden and Spain.
“It is already the sixteenth edition of the International Online Hockey Tournament, which we organize in collaboration with the Lions Club, which turns with the city of Fuengirola so that clubs from different parts of Europe come to enjoy the online hockey and also our city, because we will have sets that arrive from Finland, Latvia, Sweden, England and also from different parts of Spain such as Murcia (Águilas) Or Seville, ”Rodríguez explained.
In this sense, the mayor has thanked the Lions club, its president and his entire team “for how they turn the practice of hockey and how they also manage to promote that binomial between sport and tourism. For his part, Jari Nyman explained that “this is the sixteenth international tournament that we celebrate and we are pleased to celebrate it before starting the League. It is very interesting for us and also for the teams that come from outside, that they always want to repeat and there are many teams that stay out. The level and quality of the matches is increasingly complete. The last three years have won them of Latvia teams and we hope that this year we will be the winners.
