The Fuengirola City Council organizes a free workshop in Sevillanas for young people

It is aimed at boys and girls between 14 and 35, with limited places up to a maximum of 20. Registration can be made from September 8, at 8:00 p.m., through the Citizen Card

9/9/2025 – The City of Fuengirola will launch the first edition of a free workshop of Sevillanas for young people, an initiative that seeks to approach in a dynamic, fun and enjoyable art the art of flamenco dance both those who want to take their first steps and those who wish to improve their technique.

The press conference has been offered by the Councilor for Youth, Isaac Vargas, together with the renowned Danzahara Alcaine, who will be responsible for imparting this activity. It is a novel and close proposal for the Youth Collective, designed as a magnificent opportunity to put into practice during the next Fuengirola fair, which will be held from October 6 to 12.

Vargas stressed that “from the City Council we continue to bet on the young different, attractive and totally free alternatives that not only encourage participation, but also our traditions and coexistence in the city.”

For its part, Danzahara Alcaine has encouraged young people to register: “It is a perfect opportunity to learn or perfect Sevillanas and reach the Fuengirola fair with more confidence and joy. It will be a very dynamic, fun and easy workshop for all levels.”

The workshop will take place in the Color Building on the following dates: September 26 and October 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on October 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration, as the mayor has advanced, must be made through the citizen card starting on September 8, at 8:00 p.m. This municipal initiative has limited places, up to a maximum of 20 participants.
