The Municipal Music Band of Fuengirola offers tomorrow in the Park of Spain a concert dedicated to soundtracks

It will begin at 9:30 p.m. with free admission and include movies such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Schindler’s list or the godfather, among others

118/2025 – The Municipal Music Band of Fuengirola will offer tomorrow, August 12, a concert dedicated to movie soundtracks in the Park of Spain. It will be from 9:30 p.m. with free admission. This has been announced today by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero.

“Tomorrow Tuesday, starting at half past nine, we will have one of those concerts of the municipal music band that we all like, because you mix classical music with cinema. We talk about movie soundtracks,” said Romero, noting that “we will be able to listen to pieces by authors such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams or Ennio Morricone.”

The recital will begin “with a selection of the trilogy of El Padrino de Nino Rota, it will continue with Pirates of the Caribbean: the chest of the dead man of Hans Zimmer, the pianist’s legend in the Ocean of Morricone and the Blues Brothers in Concert of the Granujas soundtrack at all pace.”

The second part of the concert “will be dedicated entirely to the songs by John Williams. It will begin with the song Cantina’s Band of Star Wars: a new hope, will continue with the central theme of the Schindler’s list, to end with a selection of the soundtracks of Indiana Jones movies: in search of the lost ark, the damn temple and the last crusade”.

Romero has invited to attend Fuengiroleños and visitors, “because we will be able to listen to well -known music, many quality and above all, very enjoyable for the public, which I am convinced that once again the capacity of the stage of the Park of Spain will be filled.”

Founded in 1962, the Municipal Music Band of Fuengirola currently has in its catalog with more than 1,100 printed works and more than 2,090 interpretations in its more than 300 concerts offered to date since 1997, beginning of the stage with its current headline on the podium. Consolidated as a collective of professional reference musicians on the Costa del Sol, the group is directed by Alfredo Alarcón Campoy.
