The Fuengirola City Council recalls that the voluntary tax payment term remains open until August 20

The registered ones who pay their receipts before that date and do not have debts, can benefit from a 30% discount

11/8/2025 – The Councilor for Finance and Collection, Rosana Bravo, reminded Funegiroleños taxpayers that on August 20, the voluntary tax payment term ends. Only until then, the City Council will apply a 30% discount to the registered in the municipality since January 1. After this term, it will be charged by the executive route and without any discount.

“We remember our neighbors that on August 20 the voluntary period for paying taxes ends and if they meet the requirements of being registered in Fuengirola, paying the first term in a voluntary period and not having debts with the administration, they will be able to opt for 30% discount on the following receipts of the IBI, garbage and vehicles,” said Bravo.

The mayor also recalled that “on September 25, the crossing of data will be made in which these three variables are checked to grant the 30%discount. Therefore, it is important that before that date is all day.”

In this sense, the mayor has invited the neighbors “that they have any doubt or think that they can have any debt, to come to the municipal collection department to check if they have any fine or any type of debt, so that they can solve it and thus access the subsidy of 30%. They can also call us the phone 952 58 93 00 and we will attend them to give answers to the doubts that can be asked”.

Before finishing, the mayor has recommended to the neighbors “to verify these requirements to obtain the 30% discount, because from the City Council we want the maximum number of neighbors to benefit from this subsidy.”
