8/13/2025 – The Department of Culture has announced the theater programming of Autumn in Fuengirola, which includes three interesting proposals. These are the works an unexpected corpse (September 26), Don Juan Tenorio (October 30) and Homo Absent (November 20), which will be represented at the Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture and whose tickets are available in https://entradas.fuengirola.es And in the Miramar shopping center, with a price of 5 euros, with the possibility of fertilizer for the three functions for 10 euros. This was announced today by the Councilor for Culture Rodrigo Romero.
“We present the plays that, when summer ends, we will be able to enjoy in the House of Culture. It will be a small cycle of three works and with them we close the theater season,” said Romero, who has recommended “those who like the theater that does not leave it late and that they acquire their tickets as soon as possible so as not to lose the possibility of enjoying the theater in the house of culture.”
An unexpected corpse
The story focuses on a normal dinner on a farm away from the hand of God, which becomes a “save who can” when mysterious and very strange circumstances begin to happen. It is a comedy with a lot of intrigue, in which humor as it takes place, becomes more surreal. Little by little the characters show their real face, but by then it’s too late, nobody knows anyone …
Don Juan Tenorio
The work summarizes the life of three people from high society with all its splendor and miseries: Don Juan Tenorio, Don Luis Mejía and Doña Inés Ulloa, and how their lives are intertwined unleashing the game, hatred, bet, revenge, love and madness. It is a version of Zorrilla’s work based on the first letter he made, where he defined only three characters. This version is the reflection of that insomnia night of José Zorrilla, which is part of the staging, where in his head, Don Juan, Don Luis and Doña Inés speak in verse.
Homo absent (monologue)
Julio Iglesias, et, Marty McFly, Patrick Swayze … Esteban is full of models and labels about what he is and is not a man. It is being tried to deconstruct but life as a father puts too many situations that he does not know how to manage and that will make the demons of the rancid man who carries inside. A story that explores conflicts between masculinity and care. Through humor, honesty and eighties referents, Esteban seeks to question male models rooted in society for centuries, so that men are released from stereotypes and allow them to dance, take care and love.
The three works will begin at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are online sale in https://entradas.fuengirola.esand in person at the information point of the Miramar Shopping Center, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
