The works of fifteen municipal support housing in Los Pacos enter its final stretch

The works march to 88% of its execution and its completion is provided within the period established in the contract: October of this year. This action is part of the Municipal Plan for Access to Housing and is co -financed by European Funds Next Generation

8/28/2025 – The City of Fuengirola is finishing the works of fifteen municipal support housing in Los Pacos. It is an initiative of the Municipal Housing Access Plan, which will respond to the need to find this resource to fifteen young people and Fuenteroleñas families that currently have difficulty paying for this good in the free market. Mayor Ana Mula, together with the Councilor for Housing, Rocío Arriaga, have visited the works, which are already around 88% of their execution.

“The rhythm of the work is very good and gives the feeling that it is practically finished. We can soon show the final result and meet the objective, which is none other than facilitating this vital fundamental good for fifteen families and young people in the city,” said the governor.

In this way, the Consistory began the construction of these fifteen apartments in Los Pacos in October last year. They are intended for young people and Fuenngoleñas families with difficulties in accessing this good in the free market and will operate on a temporary affordable rental regime.

The total investment in this municipal initiative amounts to 2,933,502.67 euros, of which 20% are in charge of the European funds Next Generation. The work execution period is 365 calendar days and are being undertaken by the Bilba company.

It is a building of fifteen apartments- foot from a bedroom, seven of two rooms, as well as one of three, which will be shared by three elderly people- and 26 parking spaces, all of them located in the basement plant of the property. It is standing in a municipal lot, located on Aliaria Street, which has an area of ​​832 square meters.

In this sense, Mula has valued the urban development that is acquiring the environment where this new promotion is going to be settled and recalled that, in Los Pacos, the Consistory has made available to young people and Fuethiroleñas families, more than a year ago, 26 municipal support floors.

He also recalled that, together with these fifteen properties, the government team is building another 24 more municipal support apartments in Carvajal. Therefore, in a few months, the City Council will respond to 39 families and young people in the city in need of this fundamental good.

Finally, he stressed that the regime in which these properties will be granted will be for affordable rental and will be granted based on the parameters established in the Municipal Ordinance of Housing.

In this regard, they have pointed out that the Fuestiroleños who wish to opt for the process of this and how many municipal support housing promotions foresee the town hall, as a first requirement, registered in the Municipal Registry of Housing Claimant must be provided.
