5/12/2026 – Marenostrum Fuengirola will be the scene of the second edition of Bocata Fest on August 6 and 7 at Castillo Sohail, consolidating this event as one of the gastronomic and musical proposals of the summer on the Costa del Sol. Reduced price tickets go on sale today while supplies last. They can be purchased at www.marenostrumfuengirola.es and in www.bocatafest.com
The Councilor for Culture and Major Events of the Fuengirola City Council, Rodrigo Romero, has highlighted, accompanied by the director of GastronÓmico, Arantxa López, the added value that hosting this event again within the Marenostrum Fuengirola program represents for the city. “After its first edition last summer, Bocata Fest returns to Fuengirola with an original proposal that unites quality gastronomy, live music and leisure in a unique space like the Sohail Castle. From the City Council we continue to promote unique initiatives that complement our cultural and tourist programming and contribute to reinforcing the attractiveness of our municipality as a reference destination,” said the mayor.
The festival will once again opt for a format that combines gastronomy and music in a summer atmosphere by the sea. As a culinary proposal, Bocata Fest will bring together a selection of gourmet sandwiches created exclusively for the event, along with a leisure and live music program that will take place in parallel.
The first edition brought together exclusive proposals for signature sandwiches and gourmet street food prepared by seven top Malaga chefs, all of them distinguished with national and international recognition and some present in the Michelin and Repsol guides. All this was combined with live music and other complementary activities. The chefs participating in this new edition and the parallel programming will be announced next June.
