El Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola avanza en el Plan Municipal de Aparcamientos reordenando los estacionamientos del Recinto Ferial
With this action, which includes changes in the circulation of certain points, the area will have more than 700 units for parking vehicles. So far this term, the Government team has made more than 1,200 spaces available to residents between the creation of new spaces and the reorganization of areas.
5/21/2026 – The Fuengirola City Council is making progress in the Municipal Parking Plan, rearranging the parking lots at the Fairgrounds. With this action, which is being carried out by the Road Intervention services, this space will have more than 700 units for parking vehicles, which are added to the nearly 500 that have already been created so far this mandate.

“The Fairgrounds have always functioned as a large parking area, but it is true that it was not regulated or ordered. We have reviewed how to make the most of it to create the maximum number of spaces possible, as we have already done in other parts of the city. Creating parking is one of the main objectives of my Government and we are complying,” declared Mayor Ana Mula, who has visited the horizontal signage work that is being undertaken in the area.
In this way, the solution consists of delimiting all the asphalt patches at the entrance, where the fair attractions are usually located, as well as taking advantage of the margins of the central and side streets. In the case of the central section, in the booth area, there will be a substantial change. There will be only one direction of traffic in the direction of the Peace Palace and parking will be possible on both sides of the road.
“With these adjustments, the forecast is that we will make a total of 700 parking spaces available to the people of Fungirol. In other words, when we finish, we will have created almost 1,200 parking spaces between new actions and rearrangements like these new ones in Fuengirola,” the councilor stressed.
Likewise, Mula recalled that work will soon begin on the first phase of the Sports Mountain, in Los Pacos, which will add another 56 new spaces in the area.
To these we must add the more than 1,000 parking spaces planned under the surface of the new Santa Fe-Antonio Basilio stadium in Los Boliches, whose bidding process is concluding.
