The City Council promotes the Fuengirola 2026 Outlet Fair from March 12 to 14 to boost local commerce
The objective is to support and encourage sales of local businesses after the sales period in order to liquidate stocks, as well as publicize the new season.
4/3/2026 – The Fuengirola City Council, through the Department of Commerce, launches the first edition of the Fuengirola 2026 Outlet Fair, which will be held from March 12 to 14, with the aim of supporting and promoting local business sales after the sales period, facilitating the liquidation of stocks and the promotion of the new season.
The Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Javier García Lara, has highlighted that this initiative is part of the set of actions that the City Council develops to support local commerce. “We work hand in hand with the Commerce and Hospitality Roundtable to design activities that energize our establishments, which are the essence of the city and the soul of our streets,” he noted.
During the days of the fair, participating businesses may install a stand or rack on public roads, with prior municipal authorization, to give greater visibility to their products and promotions.
All Fuengirola businesses open to the public that are committed to offering additional clearly marked discounts on sale items, as well as promotional prices on new season products, will be able to join, while also maintaining their usual opening hours.
The registration period will remain open until March 9, via email commerce@fuengirola.org or through the Fuengirola + Viva app. Those establishments that wish to carry out complementary activities or use public roads must indicate this in their application to process the corresponding authorization.
The Department of Commerce encourages all sectors to participate in this initiative, designed to boost sales in a period of traditionally lower activity and reinforce the commercial attractiveness of the city.
